Thanks for stopping by Carrots where I write about cultivating a Catholic family through literature, liturgical living, and urban homesteading. I'm Haley, a young Catholic wife and mama to two little ones (and one on the way!). I'm a ballet teacher, coffee drinker, bacon eater, medieval literature reader, and lover of all things Jane Austen, Evelyn Waugh, Flannery O'Connor, and Wendell Berry. You can also find me at Mama and Baby Love where I'm a contributing writer.
Congratulations! Welcome, little Lucy girl.
I have been reading your blog for a couple of months now (since your book list for girls was all over Pinterest!) I am also a Catholic mother and can see that we have so much in common. Several times when you have mentioned Lucy’s age I’ve thought she must have been born very close to my Ephraim. I just saw this post and now I know…they were born about 10 hours apart! (He was born on the 21st). Thanks for the great blog!
On second thought, I am on the west coast…so probably only seven hours apart
Thanks for your encouragement! That is so wild. Things were starting to get real serious laborwise at our house when you were basking in the glory of Ephraim’s first hour
How cool!
