This is so cool, y’all. My friends at the Catholic artisan collective, Zelie & Co have teamed up with some blogging ladies to put together an incredibly fun auction to support some of our favorite charities. And I get to showcase the auction set from the lovely Shannon of Organic Mama (I’ve shared about some of her gorgeous items here)!
It took me a little minute to decide which charity I wanted this set to benefit and then I landed on Unbound. A priest shared about the ministry at Mass a year ago and our six-year-old really took everything to heart and encouraged us to start sponsoring a little boy just his age in Guatemala. I love getting to write letters back and forth with our sponsored child’s mother and showing our kids whenever new photos arrive to on our fridge and remember to pray for him.
I’m really impressed with UnBound’s ministry. It’s an international nonprofit founded by lay Catholics focused on the marginalized and vulnerable in 20 countries. They strive to honor the dignity of each person and try to support and empower families, especially through child sponsorship programs. And they’re the only child sponsorship organization to receive CharityWatch’s highest rating, an A+.
So to benefit UnBound, I’m going to be auctioning off a four-month subscription to Organic Mama’s “Mama Box”.
The first month will be a set the winner gets to design, a matching set including Rosary Bracelet, Deluxe Mama Necklace, and St. Benedict Earrings ($85 value).
The next three months of the subscription will include a surprise item/items valued over $30 in colors that the winner will choose!
How the Auction Works:
-There will be 10 sets up for auction! Each one has a value over $100.
-The auction will start at 9am cst and will end at midnight cst.
-The bids will increase by $5 increments.
–Bids will be taken on the @ZelieandCo IG page only, but all images are sharable!
-Shannon (OrganicMamasShop.com) will be on the Jennifer Fulwiler Show promoting our event!
-The bloggers whose set earns the most for their charity will receive an honorary award “The Heart of Zelie”.
-Please join us in asking St. Zelie and St. Therese for their intercession for the success of this event, for all of our participants, and our charities and the people they serve!
