I had a mama friend pour her heart out to me over a Facebook message the other day. She told me about how much she wants to make meals for her family that are truly healthy and nourishing. But because she didn’t grow up eating that way and doesn’t know how to cook, it causes her serious stress and anxiety.
“I feel like I’m starting from scratch,” she said.
She didn’t know where to begin. Just cooking dinner at all for a hungry toddler after she and her husband have been working full-time all day feels impossible. Finding the time and resources to do the research to know what to buy and then how to cook it is unthinkable. And then what about that grocery bill for organic food?
And I know just how she feels. When Daniel and I got married, I didn’t know how to boil an egg. I only knew how to cook french toast and other my main food group was ice cream. Daniel did all the cooking for two years.
When I got pregnant with Benjamin, I wanted to learn to make healthy meals out of real food for my family, but every time I thought about preparing a meal, my blood pressure went up. First I needed to find a recipe, then I needed to follow it (and oh my gosh, what is blanching? Is dicing different than mincing? How do you know when onions are done sautéing?). And it usually ended in me asking Daniel to save my cooking disaster and then bursting into tears because I was so overwhelmed.
This is the era we’re talking about, folks. Spring chickens! Adorbs.
Anyhow, several years later, I’ve got more of a handle on things. I learned to like vegetables. I actually enjoy cooking because I’m not terrified and overwhelmed in the kitchen. We started gardening and have our own chickens. And I’ve learned a ton about taking charge of my own health. But it’s been a LONG process.
If someone would have sifted through all the resources for me and given me a library of resources containing all the information I know now and more? I would have handed them a blank check. But thanks to the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle, I can offer you just that: dozens of healthy living ebooks, great e-courses, and wonderful bonus products all for just $30.
Ultimate Bundles finds the very best ebooks out there. I’ve purchased their bundles before and I am always amazed at what they can offer. I am getting SO excited about Michaelmas planning….and I’m sure it has NOTHING to do with the fact that my whole30 is over right before Michaelmas and I’ll be ready for all the whisky-glazed carrots and blackberry cobbler in the world 😉
And yes! So many great books. I couldn’t believe it when they shared with the authors all that was going to be included. Oh, and be sure to go through my affiliate link and I’ll be eternally in your debt 😉

Excuse my ignorance, but I am not really sure what the difference is between PDF and ebooks! 😛 I just have access to my oldest son’s apple computer (no kindle, iphone, ipad etc.) What would be the best type of bundle to buy? I would Loooove to referto/learn from all the books in this bundle!! Thank you for putting it together (I have had your book on my Amazon wish list Forever! 🙂 )

Hi Irena! I have the same issue (well, I do sometimes read kindle books on my iPhone but that screen is SMALL). I would recommend getting the PDF version. You can open the PDFs on your son’s computer and read them there 🙂
