I’m a bit bookish. It’s not a secret that I love all things Anne of Green Gables and all things Austen (yes, even Fanny Price). And no matter how many times I read Little Women, I will get all teary-eyed because it’s just so wonderful. So when I saw an etsy shop with gorgeous original art and saw Anne and Diana’s familiar faces and the Dashwood sisters and Marmee and her four girls, I jumped for joy. And I couldn’t resist contacting the artist to see if I could share some of my favorite prints with you and do a giveaway!
This one is going up in “the girls” room. Anne! Diana! Lovely.
And I plan to send one of these post cards to every friend I have in the world. Jane Austen post cards! Ahhh!
I particularly love this print of the Dashwood sisters from Sense and Sensibility and I’d like to order one to put up in the girls room next to Anne and Di.
Heather, the talent behind Audrey Eclectic, even has a gorgeous print modeled after my favorite painting of all time: Botticelli’s Madonna of the Book. I think it’s safe to say we’re kindred spirits. Heather says “inspiration comes from literary classics, spooky tales from the past, the pioneering spirit, my home town, Scandinavia and other lands far away.”
I love the style and beauty of her work. I want every print!
So….get thyself to the rafflecopter below and enter to win an Audrey Eclectic folk art print of your choice. The giveaway will be open until Saturday night, April 5th at midnight EST.
Disclosure: A big thanks to Heather of Audrey Eclectic for offering the giveaway prize and a complimentary review print! I was not otherwise compensated for this review. As always, I only share about products I love and would purchase myself.
You can follow Audrey Eclectic on twitter (@audreyeclectic), on facebook, or on Heather’s blog.
Well, you know I just have to love the St. Lucia print! Perfect for my Lucia’s room!
Love the Madonna print!
Oh, these are all so beautiful! I think my favorite is the P&P one, since it’s my favorite book. Great post! I’m so excited to shop in the store!
The prints are beautiful, the style of art is great.
Beautiful! These are great portraits of my favorite ladies of literature!
I want all of them! But Picking Dinner is probably my first choice…or the Easter Egg tree…or so many of them! I love the family and Catholic themes.
I agree that it’s SO hard to pick one! I’m loving Lamb of God, Claire in the Dunes, and the St. Lucia print.
LOVE!
love the Madonna of the book!
Oh my! Kindred spirits we are indeed! I commented before about my email address, blog name, and license plate so I won’t regale you again but I ADORE art like this and all things Anne as well! Hooray! Thank you!
I actually love the print “The Easter Egg Tree”. We had a tree growing up and now I have it. The tree isn’t that great, but the little ornaments are so adorable!
Oh, man. I love all of them. I’d probably go with a Lizzie Bennet print for my daughter or maybe a Little Women print. I also love the Woodland Madonna! So hard to decide! Her work reminds me of Ann Burt’s, whom I also adore! Check her out, too!

I am already planning on maybe doing a four-season theme in my girls’ bedroom with her paintings. Oh, my. What a find! Thank you Haley! I love the literary ones too — all paintings of personal favorites of mine too.
Anne & Diana is my absolute favorite because of how much I read those books during my childhood, but they’re all so wonderful!!
You really are a kindred spirit! I tend to love every book you mention on the blog, which is a kick in the rear for me to check out Flannery O’Connor. I truly can’t decide which print is best – maybe Little Women? But I love them all!
I love the Woodland Madonna print! The colours are gorgeous.
Oh my! Thank you for the introduction to Audrey Eclectic. All of her prints are beautiful, but I can’t help but love the Anne of Green Gables and Emma ones in particular.
Wow, these are gorgeous! I would pick the one called Hanging the Christmas Stockings or else the Anne and Diana one. Either would be a beautiful complement to any home!
The Madonna of the Book is beautiful!
Just found out we get to decorate a girl’s room!! Big brothers pointed out that we have nothing, and any of these would be great. Love the Madonna of the book! Thanks for the tip!
These are so pretty! I love the Anne and Diane one!!
Love these! What fun!
I really like her recreation of Madonna of the Book. I’ve been looking for a picture of Our Lady for my dining room.
Woodland Madonna! Oh my goodness, AMAZING! I love the colors.
I love the Bedtime Story or the Austen postcards!
oh my gosh. can i completely redecorate my girls room in her prints? spectacular. i think the madonna of the blossoms is my favorite, but i’m partial to lambs. and madonnas. and blossoms.
I thought for sure you were doing to talk about the tweets I sent you! This is nicer for a larger audience. 😉
I’m in love with Elenor and Marianne. My sister and I are blonde and brunette, and I’m taller. That would go in MY room.
Those tweets! I was dying. GO BACK TO BED, GIL!
I like the woodland Madonna best!
I adore many of these prints!! How could you find such a gem and then share it? I want, no, neeeed at least three of these prints!!! I love St. Lucia, Bedtime Story and Candlelight Prayers. Now to save my pennies to buy them!!!
How LOVELY. I, too, loved Anne of Green Gables with a passion when I was a girl. I just love this artist’s style. Thanks for the opportunity!
What a neat giveaway! I would have a hard time picking between Anne and Diana, Little Women, Emma Woodhouse, The Dashwood sisters, or Anne Elliot. What a great artist! thanks for a chance at this giveaway!! ~ Jamie
Well, these are gorgeous!!!
Oh my gosh, that Madonna of the Book is gorgeous. And I of course have a deeply abiding love for Anne and Diana!
Love Audrys work! Talented lady !
I love the one of Emma–perfect for my own Emma’s big girl room!
What a great find! These are so lovely!
They are all so lovely!! It’s such a close call, but I think Madonna in Blue is my favorite – but the Anne prints are so wonderful, too!
I’m liking the simplicity of “Claire on the Dunes,” but I seem to be alone with that 🙂
The Emma Woodhouse print is my favorite! I adore it.
Love that Anne and Di print! How beautiful.
So lovely!
Clare on the Dunes: the setting – I imagine she’s looking at the sea which we can’t see, her summery striped dress, her mahogany hair with pieces blown loose by the wind.
I want them all but love St. Lucia for nostalgia of my Swedish granparents
So, so lovely! I am loving the Madonna in Blue though it’s really quite a hard choice to make.
These are so beautiful, I love the style of the artwork and of course the subject matter! 🙂
So cute! I especially love the Dashwood sisters post card.
All of them are absolutely gorgeous, but I do love the Saint Lucia print! Incredibly lovely.
Her prints are beautiful! I would love one for my daughter!
I’d have to pick Anne and Diana, though I love them all!
I love the woodland Madonna!
I love her work! I just bought my first print of hers a couple of weeks ago. I would LOVE to win another (even though I will buy more!). These are one of my new favorite gift ideas!
I love them! i think I particularly like either St. Lucia or Picking Dinner.
I love the Madonna print as well as the Anne of Green Gables one!
Oh goodness! I’d like one for each season and holiday and month! But I think I’d start with the St. Lucy print since my husband’s family is Swedish and it’s such a lovely, bright picture.
I love the Woodland Madonna!
The Woodland Madonna is my favorite print!
Her art is simply stunning. Stumbled upon her work a couple months ago, and am so happy I did — brings a smile to my face. While it’s difficult to choose just one, I’d had to go with “Woodland Madonna” as my favorite. The look on her face is so full of feeling.
Wow. Pretty sure Lamb of God is my fave but close tie with Woodland Madonna and Madonna of the Blossoms. Stunning!
I love Clare on the dunes! It would be perfect for my Felicity!
There are so many great ones! I love the Austen postcards. That’s my way of not having to pick just one!
I love the Madonna of the Book.
Oh I love, love, love the bedtime story painting. so lovely!
Love the St. Lucia one for my daughter Lucy!
I’m a big fan of Audrey Eclectic! I love all her autumnal prints, but my favorite print is “Bedtime Story.” So sweet.
I probably can’t win, but I’m commenting anyway because I love everything she does! Of course!
She can ship to Canada, Christy!
Love Madonna in Blue!
I really love the Woodland Madonna!
Sense & Sensibility, hands down.
Firstly, I should win by default, because we are KINDRED SPIRITS IN REAL LIFE. Also, how could you ever pick? These are glorious! I finally had to have Drew help me. He says Anne and Diana, because duh. I can’t handle her Madonnas. They are GORGEOUS.
Thank you so much for sharing this artwork with us! So unique and lovely. I think the Woodland Madonna is probably my favorite- thought it’s hard to choose just one. 🙂
I love any of her Virgin and Child portraits. I actually discovered Audrey Eclectic when she came to a craft show in my town and I just fell in love with her. I had never seen anything like it! I want to use a portrait of hers when we consecrate our home to the Sacred Heart. I hope she does one of Christ I can add to a Madonna!
My youngest, Lucy, is only a couple months old so I was very excited to see the st. Lucia print. However, I do like the prints of the Blessed Mother, as well!
I would love the Anne and Diane print for my daughter.
These are beautiful! What a fabulous giveaway!
AWESOME find – thanks so much for sharing!! I love the Clare on the Dunes print…would love it for my little Clare’s room!
Hard to choose a favorite — but the Woodland Madonna!
Thanks for sharing, I love Madonna in blue! And I love reading carrots for Michaelmas, you are full of inspiration and ideas!
Madonna of the Blossom is so lovely!
These prints are beautiful! My favorite is the Picking Dinner print.
I absolutely LOVE the Madonna of the Blossoms! It’s a beautiful and sweet picture that would look great in my living room.
They are all so lovely, how could I choose just one?
I love so many of them, but my favorite is Anne of Green Gables.
I really like Clare on the Dunes and Maid with the Nut Brown Hair. Not sure what I would choose!
oh so hard to pick! I think I would have to go with “deep in the winter woods”
I love the Madonna of the Blossom and the Anne & Diana prints!
Either the Jane Austen ones or the Madonna of the Blossoms. And of course the Little Women one as well… I’ll just have them all thanks 😉 Beautiful!
Wow. My girls’ room is currently Cinderella-themed, but it would be greatly improved by some Jane Austen.
Her Madonna of the Book print is absolutely gorgeous! If I don’t win I think I might just have to buy it!
I’m torn between the Madonna of the Book and the Madonna of the Blossoms. Both are so beautiful!
The Maddona of the Book or Bedtime Story are my favorite. Thanks for introducing this wonderful shop!
The Madonna of the wooland! From the garland on the Christ Child’s head to the cardinals on the branches.
oh my stars! these are genius! i am in love! all the best characters and stories!
I especially love the Catholic family home scenes! Her style uses bold rich colors. Absolutely gorgeous and very unique without a trashy modern feel.
The Woodland Madonna is beautiful.
I just love Little Women! They are all gorgeous, though!
I too love Heather’s work. I want to commission a piece of the members of my book club as a hosting totem – – to pass to whoever hosts the next meeting. 🙂
So beautiful! Thanks for the giveaway!
Beautiful prints! I love the Little Women one.
Definitely craving an extra touch of happy folk art in our home. ‘Storytime’ hits about the right note! So sweet with the mama nursing new baby in the background.
Oh my gosh I absolutely LOVE the Woodland Madonna print. It is so gorgeous! 🙂
They’re all so beautiful – Madonna of the Blossoms speaks to my heart 🙂
I really like the Bird Guardian
I love both the St. Lucia and the Hanging the Christmas stockings print. Oh, and of course I love the Easter Egg Tree. Such cool prints!
These are so awesome! I love the Anne of Green Gables one’s and the images of Mary she has done. And the story time with Daddy painting. 🙂
How can I pick just one, I am so in love with them all. I am so glad you posted this I am always looking for good art to put on my walls. My favorite right at this moment is the Woodland Madonna.
I love “Picking Dinner.” I think it would look excellent next to the door overlooking our garden! They are all beautiful!
I love the Madonna in Blue and Woodland Madonna! They bring a touching reality to Our Lady 🙂
My favorites are the ones that look the most “folksy” to me– especially “The Easter Tree” and “Thankful Harvest.”
They are all lovely! I would probably choose Anne and Diana for the baby’s room!
I love all of them and it’s almost impossible to pick a favorite… but if I have to… Madonna in Blue!
The Madonna in Blue is BEAUTIFUL!
I can’t decide between Little Women (because that’s one of my favorite scenes) or Anne Elliot because she’s my favorite heroine. Although the Easter Egg tree and Candlelight Prayers are also lovely.
Her work is really great though. I may have to use these for Christmas presents.
Either Gerda’s Journey or Clare on the Dunes – too hard to decide. Thanks for a great giveaway.
Ohh, I love them all! 🙂 Especially everything with nature, Thankful Harvest, Picking Dinner, The Witch`s Garden, The Bird Guardian, Woodland Madonna, Maple and Bittersweet… And everything with families… Still, Thankful Harvest stands out the most to me.
A wonderful find, thank you for sharing!
Oh my. LOVE Clare on the Dunes.
Aww, they are so sweet. What a lovely way to decorate a little girl’s room.
I love them all, but I NEED the Anne and Diana one. 🙂
They are all so stunning… I have already pinned these and adore them so much. I love the Woodlen Modona most!
Oh my goodness, these are just lovely! My favorite is Madonna of the Blossoms. Thanks for such a sweet giveaway, and what a great find!
The Emma Woodhouse print is my favorite. These are lovely.
They are all beautiful! I love them all. My favorites are Maple and Bittersweet, The Headless Horseman, and Anne and Diana.
Anne and Dianna. Duh.
I love the winter prints! –Especially the bird guardian!
My goodness! How can you pick a favorite at the Audrey Eclectic shop? I loved the Witch’s Garden, and Gerda on her Deer, but I have a large soft spot for the Swedish St. Lucia – I used to dress just like that to serve my family cinnamon rolls on St. Lucia’s day 🙂
As an Atlantic Canadian I am definitely partial to the Anne of Green Gables one!
Such kindred faces in all the art. So beautiful, thanks for sharing your talent.
Wow. So gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the artist!
Oh. My. Word. These prints are SO lovely and great! *swoon*.
This post also reminds me I am due for another re-read of Little Women… 🙂
Love the literary prints but think I would go with the Madonna of the Book.
These pieces of art are gems!
Would love to have the Anne and Diana print. I love all things Anne of Green Gables!
Wow. I just spent a LONG time on her Etsy page. What beautiful work!
I forgot to say, Madonna of the Book is my favorite. Followed closely by Daddy Storytime. What a cute idea – that’s how it is around our house, too. Love it!
I also love the Madonna & the book, as well as the woodland Madonna. But really, they are ALL gorgeous.
Oh my goodness, my roommate and I from college call each other Kindred Spirits because of something one of our professor said to us and the fact that we both love Anne of Green Gables! I love the Anne print!
Although I’d be a little likelier to convince my husband to hang the Madonna of the blossoms or the Madonna of the book, my current favorite is Bedtime story. How lovely!
I love the Madonna in Blue print!
Beautiful! My daughter is named after a character in Anne of Avonlea (the movie not the book). One of the nurses in the delivery room even asked if that was where I got it from. Not too many people would know it.
My favorite is Madonna of the Book but as a babywearing prairie girl, Picking Dinner is a close second.
St. lucia, so pretty
These are so beautiful!!
I love them all…but of the ones on the Etsy site, I like the lamb of God best or the Easter egg tree.
I would love the Anne & Diana print or Madonna with book, but did not see them on her site.
Whoops, my little phone screen didn’t show all the images. I now see there are a lot more. 🙂
